 Where most think of metal as a cold, hard material, this artist confidently conjures from it a softness and beauty that uniquely belongs in the home. Although Michael occasionally starts with a sketch, he ultimately creates art from only an idea. He works from a few basic lines and discovers the finishing details along the way.

 Michael cuts, forms, welds, hammers and grinds each artwork by hand. The artist then applies a finish that he believes will compliment its shape and completes the piece.
